2. Check Scientific-Society Membership

  • Membership in the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery or an international body such as ISAPS.
  • National plastic-surgery society registration in the surgeon's home country.
  • Documented focus on breast procedures rather than general practice.

3. Assess Experience in Your Procedure

Augmentation, lift and reduction are different operations. Ask how many of your specific procedure the surgeon performs and request unedited documentation of similar cases. Procedure-specific volume is a more useful signal than total years in practice.
